Botox
What is Botox?
Botox is a popular, FDA-approved treatment that temporarily smooths fine lines and wrinkles, giving you a refreshed and youthful appearance. Commonly used to treat areas like crow’s feet, forehead lines, and frown lines, Botox is a minimally invasive option with no downtime, offering results that last 3 to 6 months.

Beyond its cosmetic benefits, Botox is also used for a variety of medical conditions, including chronic migraines, excessive sweating, muscle spasms, and overactive bladder. Safe and effective when administered by professionals, Botox has become a go-to solution for both aesthetic and therapeutic treatments.
How Does Botox Work?
Botox works by temporarily relaxing the muscles where it's injected. Normally, our nerves send signals to muscles, telling them to contract. This constant muscle movement is what causes wrinkles over time, especially in areas like the forehead or around the eyes.
When Botox is injected, it blocks these signals, so the muscles can't contract as they usually would. As a result, the muscles relax, and the skin above them looks smoother, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The effects aren’t permanent—after about 3 to 6 months, the muscles start working normally again, and you might notice the wrinkles returning, which is why many people choose to repeat the treatment.
